Here’s an analytical discussion of what most of them wouldn’t have thought of! The Curse of Mahesh Babu! And if you are wondering what that could be…there’s a record of Mahesh’s movies that have released in the month of October in the past, have been flops! Now his ‘Khaleja’ directed by Trivikram is releasing this October, will Trivikram break the curse?

Going by the records, in the year 2000, on October 4th Mahesh Babu starred in an awful movie ‘Vamsi’. It was a terrible movie that bombed instantly at the box office! But Mahesh Babu came with a bang with Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Murari’ in Feburary 2001. And the following year, i.e. in 2002 October 31st, Mahesh Babu acted in a dud ‘Bobby’, a total disappointment! But the all time hit ‘Okkadu’ came to Mahesh’s rescue again in the beginning of 2003.

We’re not done here! Mahesh’s last release ‘Athidhi’ was also an October release, in the year 2007! The October Tragedy continued even then with that movie also being a disaster in his career.

The Film Industry, to a few is a passion and to others is trade! For the people with passion, the journey continues in spite of failures! In the trade, a few (most) are superstitious! You could spot a few doing rituals before their releases, have lucky mascots in their movies, release their movies on select months or dates and many such things! In a field where superstition goes hand in hand, will Mahesh Babu prove an exception to the law to his producers?

Director-Writer Trivikram is a man of extraordinary talent! He’s proved with his dialogues and his direction in ‘Athadu’ with Mahesh Babu was classy! Now ‘Khaleja’ releases on the 7th of October! What do you think, will Trivikram break the curse! Will he break Mahesh Babu’s October Paradox?
